Agricultural Workshop Supervisor
Full Time: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
The Agricultural Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop, ensuring the timely and high-quality maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment. This role blends strong technical expertise with practical leadership, requiring a hands-on approach to supervising technicians and maintaining workflow. The supervisor will ensure a safe and productive working environment, while also contributing to the overall efficiency of the service department.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervisory Leadership: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop technicians.
Assign work orders, prioritize tasks, and monitor progress.
Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify training needs.
Maintain a positive and productive team environment.
Technical Oversight: Oversee and participate in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of agricultural equipment, including tractors, implements, and other machinery.
Ensure all repairs are performed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in agricultural equipment technology.
Workshop Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Manage workshop tools, equipment, and resources.
Monitor and control inventory of parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks on completed repairs and maintenance.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering reliable and timely service.
Address and resolve any technical issues or customer complaints.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Valid driver's license.

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.30 pm
Occasional early starts, late finishes and weekends will be required over seasonal times to cover demand
