Siromer Tractors, a leading provider of compact tractors and agricultural equipment, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join our expanding team. The Role:

As a PDI Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our tractors and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections on new and used tractors and machinery.

• Checking and adjusting fluid levels, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

• Identifying and rectifying any faults or defects.

• Fitting and testing attachments and accessories.

• Completing detailed inspection reports and documentation.

• Ensuring all machines meet our high standards of quality and safety.

• Assisting with general workshop maintenance and organisation.

• Potentially, delivering machines to customers and demonstrating operation.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a PDI Technician or similar role, ideally within the agricultural or automotive industry.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of machinery.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• A valid UK driving licence (essential).

• Experience with agricultural machinery is highly desirable.

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ in mechanics) are advantageous.

Hours Of Work 

Monday to Friday: 9.00am to 5.30 pm 

Occasional early starts, late finishes and weekends will be required over seasonal times to cover demand
