Delivery information
Thank you for ordering from Siromer Tractors, the information below is aimed to make delivery go as smoothly as possible.
BUILT TRACTORS
-
When you placed the order for your tractor an invoice will have been sent to you with an estimated delivery date, Siromer will be in touch prior to this date to confirm.

-
Unless other arrangements have been made between yourselves and Siromer Tractors, the tractor will be delivered on a lorry and drag or flatbed lorry with ramps to allow the tractor to be driven off the lorry.
-
Due to the size of the lorry please advise if there are any width or access restrictions.
-
If the delivery address is tricky to find or if there is a preferred route for HGVS, please add any additional directions or instructions to your notes and we can pass this on to the haulier.
-
You will need to be available at the delivery address on the day to unload the goods.
-
We will request the haulier calls 1 hour before delivery to ensure there is someone to sign for the goods and to give an approx. ETA. Please provide two contact numbers if possible to ensure the delivery goes smoothly on the day.
-
The hauliers will be doing other drop offs and collections for other companies and customers, this along with adverse traffic can mean the time and sometimes day can change for your delivery at short notice.
-
Please ensure you are reachable by phone or provide a 2nd alternate number to avoid any complications on the day.
-
Always read the manual before using your machine! Online copies of our product manuals can be found here.
-
Check all bolts are tight before use and within the first 4 hours. This ‘shake in’ period ensures the machine is ready to go, similar to a car when checking wheel bolt tightness.

-
Grease and oil – again like a car your machine has moving parts which need to be lubricated, a grease gun is a good purchase for greasing bearings or PTO shafts. Check all oil levels before use and within the first 4 hours, the grades of oil required can be found in your operators manual. Or click here for a handy crib sheet on oils and maintenance for your Siromer tractor.

The flatpacks have travelling oils to keep them lubricated before they are built. These need draining and the oils need replacing with the correct oils given in the manual.

EQUIPMENT

-
First and foremost please ensure the equipment is suitable for the tractor you have purchased it for.

-
The PTO output on your tractor should be 6 splined and 1 3/8″ size to fit Siromer machinery. Older Ferguson T20s (Grey Fergies) are renowned for their PTO size which is smaller than the modern tractor/implement size. PTO converters are usually readily available online to rectify this.

-
Your tractor PTO shaft spins in a clockwise direction when standing behind the tractor. There are a few tractors which spin the opposite way.

-
Double check the equipment specification in particular weight and three pont linkage category is suitable for your tractor. You can find the product ID on your invoice and the specification for the product on the Siromer website. Please let us know if you would like us to email the specifications of the equipment you have purchased.

-
If you have purchased the equipment with a tractor these will be delivered together, unless other arrangements have been made between yourselves and Siromer Tractors.
-
When you placed the order for your equipment an invoice will have been sent to you with an estimated delivery date, Siromer will be intouch prior to this date to confirm.
-
If the equipment is being delivered independantly of a tractor the equipment will be delivered on a pallet lorry, unless other arrangements have been made between yourselves and Siromer Tractors.

-
Delivery times are weekdays and between 9am – 5pm. (If you require an AM/PM slot this can be provided for an extra fee)

-
You will need to be available at the delivery address on the day to ensure the pallet is signed for in good condition.

-
The equipment will be strapped to a pallet. Once you have removed the goods, you will get to keep the pallet to re-use or recycle.

-
Lorry sizes can vary so please advise if there are any width or access restrictions. Also overhead trees/branches are not too friendly for the couriers curtain lorries so please be aware of this when arranging delivery.

By default we will request a lorry with a tail lift for off-loading. Items which are over a ton in weight or over 2.4m wide will not be able to be offloaded with a tail lift and will require a forklift or equivalent to be available to offload the pallet.
-
The goods can usually be deposited to the kerbside using a pump truck. Please ensure there are no obstacles, kerbs, steps, gravel or any soft ground from the vehicle to the drop off point.
